Can learning math be fun? Definitely...the 20+ math resources now available in my TeachersPayTeachers shop include puzzles, crafts, and other activities in PDF or PowerPoint format. Here are a few examples to give you an idea:
Falling for Symmetry! is a math lesson in line symmetry plus seasonal artwork. There are 3 levels of difficulty for each of the 20 designs for kiddos to either color or draw and color symmetrically.
Feedback: "These are great! I look forward to using them this upcoming year."
Color-by-Place-Value Fall Fun is fairly new but has been popular already. Students use the underlined numbers as the code for coloring in the pictures. It's a fun way to review place value for Tens, Hundreds, and Thousands.
Feedback: "Great practice that can be worked on independently."
Even newer are these We ♥ School Place Value Mystery Pictures. Kiddos will read and/or write base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form as they solve the clues to draw the surprise picture.
Feedback: "What a fun way to review & have students be able to check their work!"
My best-selling WOW MOM Mother's Day Card is available in a Combo Pack along with the Father's Day Star Cards. They incorporate line or rotational symmetry as part of the process of making the cards. They each have several design options and are also available separately.
Feedback: "My class really enjoyed colouring in the cards and personalizing them with a special message for mom and dad."
"Great resource - used both with my kiddos this year - fun, easy to make - kids and parents loved them!
Another bestseller is Symmetry is Eggciting for a Spring or Easter project using line symmetry. Kiddos will color or draw and color one of the 10 designs to complete their symmetrical egg.
Feedback: "My class loved these! They keep asking for more!"
